Gateway’s Quilters meet on Monday afternoons beginning at 1 p.m. in the Learning Center. To date this group has made over 320 blankets for the Children’s Hospital at Health Park in Fort Myers. The group also makes Angel Pal dolls and hospital gowns to match which are used to educate young patients before treatment or surgery.
You don’t need to know how to sew or have any prior experience. There are plenty of jobs for everyone to help out and it’s a great afternoon of fellowship too.
